Are we living through the end of reality? We seem to be on the verge of a new age where things like AI, brain interfaces, VR/AR entertainment, and other extraordinary advancements are leading us into a realm where even the definitions of reality and sanity are becoming antiquated. As humanity has emerged from its evolutionary origins to the agricultural, industrial, and technological revolutions, and onto our current age of confusion, we've become increasingly divided from nature, each other, our true selves, and perhaps even reality itself. Karmic forces, scientific causes, psychological motivations, and whatever else may be driving the historical arc of humanity, all appear to be rooted in the single transcendent truth that- reality is not enough. Everything with a beginning has an end, and sooner or later, reality as we know it will come to an end as well.
